Brass Dancing Shiva – Two Sizes

Hindu god Shiva has many aspects or forms. In this beautiful statue he appears as Natarāja, the Lord of the Dance.

The symbolism of the dance represents Shiva’s role as the deity, destroying the cosmos for it to be renewed again.

Shiva oversees the endless cycles of time, and in doing this he marks the pace with his drum and footsteps.
