Wands
Crystal wands are recognised as valuable healing tools. Traditionally, healing energy is directed through the wand, the tip of the crystal serves to focus that energy into a tight beam. In this way wands are used as a metaphoric surgical tool to cut energy blockages out of the body or auric field; often working over the Chakras (energy centers of the body) but one can also work directly over any area of the body.
Some wands have a rounded end at one end and point at the other end (single terminated) whilst other wands that have points at both ends (double terminated). when working with a single terminated wand you would hold it from the rounded end and direct the energy through the to tip, so that the energy moves in one direction only. With wands that have a double termination, the energy can move in both directions, they can be used for giving and receiving; although you can program them for the energy to move in only one direction.
Vogal Cut
Marcel Vocal (1917-1991) was a famous Lapiday (stone cutter) who developed lots of new ‘cuts’, many of which took on his name. Vogal wands are muti-faceted and very precisely cut, working with multiples of 7. So they have 7,14, or 21, or 28 sides. These special cuts incorporate the principles of sacred geometry and are said to bring addition qualities to the crystal. Cutting and polishing a gemstone with so many facets is very labor intensive and adds to the beauty and end value of the stone.
