Workshop/Events Application

Please read through this form carefully before submitting. It contains all information you must know before holding a workshop in our space.

    Room 1 is the largest of our rooms (approximately 3.5 x 5.5m), and is perfect for individual sessions, especially if your practice and/or modality require a little more space. This room holds up to 20 people in theatre style seating, or ~15 people seated in a circle. There is opportunity for clients to lay down but this should be discussed with Qi staff before applying as this will be case dependant.

      • Payment:

        Workshop hire is worked through a half day or full-day room rate. Full payment is required to secure dates. Payment is non-refundable, and non-transferrable. If you select Credit Card as a payment option, please call the store to make payment over the phone. If payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or in-store has not been confirmed within 7 days of putting dates on hold, we will automatically consider this as a cancellation on your behalf and release the dates as being available.

      • Content Submission for Workshop/Event:

        Please fill out the following in order for us to create a page for your workshop on our website. Please see here: https://www.qicrystals.com.au/workshops/ for an example of how your Workshop/Event will be presented.
      • Accepted file types: jpg, png, jpeg, Max. file size: 32 MB.
        Please attach a relevant image related to your workshop that you have the copyright to. Please, submit images with a minimum 400 x 300 pixel size.
      • Workshop Times:

        Please note the shop opening hours of 10:00AM – 5:00PM on the weekends. Your room will be ready at 9.30AM for set up, with a 10AM start. We allow up to half an hour after 5PM for you to pack up. If you require time outside of this, you must have approval prior to your workshop date by Qi staff. Please note, if you have chosen a half day room rate this includes a 30minute set up before and after your allocated time.
      • Please note, we will automatically add your event to our Facebook page if you have noted the link to the Facebook Event above. For boosting/sponsoring an event, please utilise the Facebook Requests form.

      • Room Requirements:

        Please select what you will require to be set up in your room, and a description of the layout (circle or theatre seating etc…)
      • Before submitting, please note:

        Please confirm numbers by calling the store 48 hours before your workshop/event, to help logistics. If you have selected Credit Card as a payment option, please call the store to make payment over the phone. If payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or in-store has not been confirmed within 7 days of putting dates on hold, we will automatically consider this as a cancellation on your behalf and release the dates as being available.
      • Promotion & Advertising:

        Once workshop has been accepted, and payment has been received, your workshop will then be listed on the Qi Website, as per this submission form. It will then be listed in the Qi Newsletter. As a workshop facilitator, you are also invited to contribute articles for the newsletter, and our website blog. Please refer to the appropriate submission forms for the Newsletter. You are also welcome to utilise our Qi Crystal’s Facebook Page, by submitting Facebook Requests through the appropriate submission form.
      • To best promote your workshop, we recommend you supply us with your own brochures, postcards and/or business cards. We also suggest you provide us with 2 x A5 posters promoting your event/workshop to be displayed on our notice board and in the shop window; these look more professional if you pay to get them professionally printed at you own cost, but you are also welcome to attach a file below if you would prefer for us to print and laminate them for you.

      • Damage to Rooms

        We do check the rooms after use, and you are required to notify us of any damage you cause to our rooms, carpet, and/or our facilities. You must be willing to pay for any such damage upon presentation of a receipt for the repair cost. Please note normal wear and tear is expected and we have our carpets cleaned regularly.
